Start Migration from the old panel Dashboard
This guide provides a step-by-step, operational walkthrough for migrating your account from CloudRaya old panel to CloudRaya New Panel using the built-in migration flow in the old panel dashboard.
The process is automated and non-disruptive. Your active resources (VMs, storage, Kubernetes, networking, and services) remain running during migration.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have completed the Pre-Migration Checklist:
- Reviewed what is and is not migrated
- Exported any required billing or usage reports
- Noted changes to Projects and API behavior
- Confirmed access to your account email address

Migration Flow Overview
The migration consists of three controlled phases:
- Start Migration: You initiate the process from the old panel dashboard
- Migration in Progress: The system performs automated data transformation
- Completion & Access: You reset your password and log in to new panel
The process is designed to preserve service continuity while transitioning your account data to the new platform model.
Step 1 — Start Migration
1.1 Locate the Migration Banner
When migration is available for your account, a notification banner will appear at the top of the CloudRaya old panel dashboard.
The banner includes:
- A link to migration documentation
- A brief summary of platform changes
- A Start Migration button
1.2 Review the Documentation
Before proceeding:
- Open the documentation link
- Review the scope of migration
- Confirm you understand what will change and what will remain the same
This ensures there are no surprises during or after the process.
1.3 Confirm and Start
Click Start Migration.
You will see a confirmation dialog that includes:
- A checklist acknowledgment
- A link to the platform agreement and migration terms
- A final confirmation checkbox
Once confirmed, click Start Migration to proceed.
Step 2 — Migration in Progress
What Happens Automatically
After starting the migration:
- You will be logged out automatically
- The migration runs in the background
- Your resources remain active and unaffected
Processing Time
Typical completion time:
- A few minutes in most cases
In rare cases, it may take longer depending on:
- Account size
- Number of resources
- Data relationships

Login Behavior During Migration
If you attempt to log in while migration is still running:
- You will see a migration in progress message
- Access to the platform will be temporarily blocked
This prevents partial or inconsistent data access during the transition.
Step 3 — Completion & Access
3.1 Password Reset Email
When migration is complete:
- You will receive an email to reset your password
- This is required to activate your CloudRaya New Panel account
3.2 If You Miss the Email
If you try to log in without resetting your password:
- You will see a prompt indicating that migration is complete
- You will be directed to reset your password before continuing
3.3 Log In to CloudRaya New Panel
After resetting your password:
- Return to the login page
- Sign in using your updated credentials
- You will be redirected to the CloudRaya New Panel dashboard
Post-Migration Validation
After logging in, verify that your environment is complete and operational.
Recommended Checks
Account & Access
- Confirm your profile information is correct
- Verify access to Projects you own or are a member of
Resources
Check that the following appear as expected:
- Virtual Machines
- Storage services
- Kubernetes clusters
- Networking (VPCs, IPs, VPNs, Load Balancers)
- Container Registries
- Marketplace subscription and Managed Services
Billing & Usage
- Review Cloud Credit History
- Check Monthly Usage History
- Confirm balances and recent deductions
Automation & API Users
If you use the API:
- Review the new API documentation
- Regenerate tokens if required
- Validate integrations in staging before production use
Known Differences You May Notice
- Projects replace legacy resource tagging
- Object Storage no longer includes a built-in file browser
- API endpoints and authentication model differ from Old panel
- Coins and Cloud Credit are displayed as separate balances
These changes are expected and part of the New panel platform model.
Troubleshooting
Migration Stuck or Fails
If migration does not complete:
- Wait at least 60 minutes
- Do not retry from multiple sessions
- Contact support with:
- Account email
- Approximate start time
- Screenshot of the migration screen
Missing Resources After Login
If resources appear missing:
- Refresh the dashboard
- Confirm the correct Project is selected
- Contact support if the issue persists
