Create a Project

This page explains how to create a new Project in CloudRaya and optionally invite members during the creation process.

Ways to Create a Project

You can create a new project in two ways:

1. From the Project Selector in the top navigation bar
2. From the Projects page after logging in

Both methods will open the same Create New Project dialog.

Create a New Project

Step 1: Open the Create Project Dialog

Do one of the following:

• Click Jump to Project in the top navigation bar, then select Create New
• Or open the Projects page and click Add New Project

Step 2: Enter Project Details

In the Create New Project dialog:

1. Project Name
   Enter a unique name for your project.

2. Invite Project Members (Optional)

   • Enter the email address of a CloudRaya user
   • Click Add to include them in the invitation list
   • You can invite multiple members

Once added, the dialog will show “Invitation will be sent to” with the listed email addresses.

Step 3: Create the Project

Click Create Project.

After creation:

• The project will appear in your project list
• You can immediately open and start using it

Opening a Project

To start working inside a project:

• Click Open Project from the project card
• Or select the project from the Jump to Project menu

Once a project is opened, the CloudRaya Control Panel will display all services under that project context.

Managing a Project

Each project card includes a More (⋯) menu with the following options:

• Manage Teams – manage members and invitations
• Edit Name – rename the project
• Delete Project – permanently remove the project

Managing Project Members

From Manage Teams, you can:

• View all project members
• See member roles and status (Active / Deactive / Invited)
• Invite new members
• Remove existing members

Member Roles

• Owner
  Full control over the project, members, and resources

• Member
  Access based on assigned permissions

Invited members will appear with Invited status until they accept the invitation.

Next Steps

After creating a Project, you can start collaborating by inviting team members to join the Project.
Invited members will be able to access and manage resources based on their assigned role.
