Invite Members to a Project
You can invite other CloudRaya users to collaborate inside a project.
Invited members can create and manage resources within the project, while billing remains controlled at the account level.
You can invite members either:
- During Project creation, or
- After the Project has been created via Manage Teams
Who Can Invite Members?
Only Project Owners can invite or remove members.
Invite Members During Project Creation
When creating a new Project, you can immediately invite members by:
- Entering their email address
- Clicking Add
- Proceeding with Create Project
Invitation emails will be sent automatically.

Invite Members to an Existing Project
To invite members after a Project is created:
- Open the Project
- Click the three-dot menu on the Project card
- Select Manage Teams
- Click Invite Member
- Enter one or more email addresses
- Click Invite Member
You can invite multiple users at once in a single dialog.
Invitation Flow (Invited User Experience)
When a user is invited:
- They receive an email invitation
- The email contains a verification link
- Clicking the link opens the CloudRaya login page, where the user will see a βSuccess verify memberβ confirmation message.
- The invited project is automatically added to their account
If the user already has a CloudRaya account, they will be automatically added to the invited project after logging in.
If the user does not yet have an account, they must create a CloudRaya account using the invited email address to join the project.

If the invited user already has a CloudRaya account and is currently logged in to the CloudRaya Control Panel, they must log out first before clicking the verification link.
- Clicking the link opens the CloudRaya login page, where the user will see a βSuccess verify memberβ confirmation message.
- The invited project is automatically added to their account
If the user already has a CloudRaya account, they will be automatically added to the invited project after logging in.
If the user does not yet have an account, they must create a CloudRaya account using the invited email address to join the project.
Project Owner View After Invitation
After sending an invitation:
- The invited member appears in the project member list
- Status becomes Active after verification
- Initially:
- Name may be empty
- Last Login Date may be empty
Once the user logs in:
- Name and last login date are populated automatically
Member Access Scope
Project members can:
- Create and manage resources inside the project
- View project resources
- Perform operational actions
Project members cannot:
- Top up balance
- Redeem vouchers
- Manage billing or invoices
- Manage account-level settings
Billing is always handled at the account owner level, not per project member.
Managing Project Members
The Project Teams page allows you to:
- View all Project members
- See each memberβs:
- Name
- Role (Owner or Member)
- Join date
- Last login date
- Status (Active, Invited, Deactive)
- Filter members by status
- Remove members if needed
The project owner can perform all actions such as deactivating or deleting them, while project members can still view all project members but cannot perform actions .
Notes & Limitations
- Invitations are email-based
- Access is project-scoped
- No custom roles or permission tiers
- Billing remains account-level
